Zaira Miluska Funes is a Salvadoran-American from San Pedro, California and the creator of Central American Art & Beauty. Since 2017, Central American Art & Beauty is an online space dedicated to highlightning the diversity and beauty of the Central American isthmus. Inspired by the lack of positive represenatation in Latine media, I created this digital platform to share, embrace, learn/unlearn/relearn what it means to be Central American and what do we interpret as 'beauty.'
